Carpentry

The Carpentry Program provides students with experience in the basics of residential construction including framing, roofing, siding, and interior finish work.  The carpentry program areas are outfitted with tools and equipment used in industry. Students learn with a combination of online resources and through experience working on a variety of projects in the shop and for customers in the community.  Industry partnerships include WT Rich, The Building Center, the Greater Cape Ann Chamber of Commerce Trades Committee, Timberline and Ace Hardware. Carpentry students pictured are working on two sheds for the new East Veterans' Elementary School in Gloucester.
